Join us for a special “after hours” Good Friday showing of The Passion of the Christ on the 20th Anniversary of its release.
Doors lock at 12 o’clock because the library officially closes at 12 on Good Friday so don’t be late! Seats are available on a first come first serve basis.
Movie is Rated R for graphic violence.

View a partial solar eclipse over the Black River. Eclipse starts at 1:58 PM and reaches 95% coverage at 3:14 PM.
Viewing glasses are available at the library while supplies last.

Easter Egg Hunt

Join us for a Good Friday Easter Egg Hunt. Get here early to build your custom basket and the Hunt starts at 10:30 am SHARP!!! It doesn’t last long. After the kiddos collect their eggs, they can redeem the tickets within for candy and prizes back at the Library.
We divide the kiddos into groups: Kindergarten and below stick by the library and older elementary kids cross the Swinging Bridge. We will also have a bonus hunt inside for the littles (1 and 2 years old) after the main event (littles can participate in both).
Event will happen rain or shine. We will move it all inside the library if it rains.

Croswell Library: Parks & Paths 5K

Thank you for showing interest in the 6th Annual Croswell Library: Parks & Paths 5K. This will be the fifth year running the new route beginning and ending at the Croswell Splash Pad.
This year’s giveaway will be custom printed soft cotton t-shirts with both men’s and women’s sizes, while supplies last. All participants will earn a custom medal featuring a variety of classic books.
Runners earn prizes for first, second, and third overall (male and female categories). Under 13, 13-19, 20-39, Master (40-59), and Grandmaster (60+) runners (male and female) can earn prizes for first place in their respective age groups. The fastest dogs (male and female (runners not dogs)) will also get a prize.
Any male or female who sets a new record will receive a free entry into next year’s race. Last year, the course records were not broken. The men’s record is 18:40 and is held by Garrett Jurges. The female record is 21:12 and is held by Daneille Fowler, breaking her own record from the previous year.
When signing up 2 or more people, each runner will receive a $5 discount.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Aitkin Memorial District Library.
