Croswell Library: Parks and Paths 5K Join us for the fourth year running the new route beginning and ending at the Croswell Splash Pad.
This year's giveaway is a running hat and all participants will earn a custom medal featuring a variety of classic books.
Runners earn prizes for first, second, and third overall (male and female categories). Under 13, 13-19, 20-39, Master (40-59), and Grandmaster (60+) runners (male and female) can earn prizes for first place in their respective age groups. The fastest dogs (male and female (runners not dogs)) will also get a prize.
Any male or female who sets a new record will receive free entry into next year's race. Last year, the course records were not broken. The men's record is 18:40 and is held by Garrett Jurges. The female record is 21:12 and is held by Daneille Fowler, breaking her own record from the previous year.
When signing up 2 or more people, each runner will receive a $5 discount.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Aitkin Memorial District Library.
