14May 14, 2022●(1 event)Croswell Library: Parks & Paths 5K Sign Up Here https://runsignup.com/Race/MI/Croswell/CroswellLibraryParksandPaths5K We're holding the 5th annual Parks & Paths 5K. This will be the third year running the new route beginning and ending at the Croswell Splash Pad. This year's giveaway is a fitted tank and all participants will earn a custom medal featuring a variety of classic books. Runners earn prizes for first, second, and third overall (male and female categories). Under 13, 13-19, 20- 39, Master (40-59) and Grandmaster (60+) runners (male and female) can earn prizes for first place in their respective age groups. The fastest dogs (male and female (runners not dogs)) will also win a prize. Course records were broken last year. The men's record is 18:40 and is held by Garrett Jurges. The female record is 21:12 and is held by Daneille Fowler, breaking her own record from the previous year. Any male or female who sets a new record will receive a free entry into next year's race. When signing up 2 or more people, each runner will receive a $5 discount. All proceeds from this event will benefit Aitkin Memorial District Library. |

Arrival is a 2016 American science fiction drama film directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Amy Adams as Louise Banks, a linguist enlisted by the United States Army to discover how to communicate with extraterrestrial aliens who have arrived on Earth, before tensions lead to war.
It received eight nominations at the 89th Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Adapted Screenplay, and won for Best Sound Editing.
