We’re holding the 5th annual Parks & Paths 5K. This will be the third year running the new route beginning and ending at the Croswell Splash Pad.

This event will take place at the Splash Pad in Croswell on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 9:00 AM EDT.

This year’s giveaway is a fitted tank and all participants will earn a custom medal featuring a variety of classic books.

Runners earn prizes for first, second, and third overall (male and female categories). Under 13, 13-19, 20- 39, Master (40-59) and Grandmaster (60+) runners (male and female) can earn prizes for first place in their respective age groups. The fastest dogs (male and female (runners not dogs)) will also win a prize.

Course records were broken last year. The men’s record is 18:40 and is held by Garrett Jurges. The female record is 21:12 and is held by Daneille Fowler, breaking her own record from the previous year. Any male or female who sets a new record will receive a free entry into next year’s race.

When signing up 2 or more people, each runner will receive a $5 discount.

All proceeds from this event will benefit Aitkin Memorial District Library.
